ついに言語学習の最適解を見つけたPimsleurの本当に素晴らしい点は、新しい情報を詰め込みすぎないところです。新しい単語や文法を次々と紹介する他の多くのアプリとは異なり、Pimsleurは既に学習した内容の定着に重点を置いています。適切なタイミングで復習できるので、無理に暗記しようとしなくても自然に記憶に残ります。そのため、ストレスを感じながら「勉強」しているという感覚がなく、実際に言語を使っているという実感があります。もう一つ素晴らしい点は、各レッスンの構成が明確であることです。いつ始めていつ終えるべきかが分かっているので、継続しやすいです。漠然とした学習だとモチベーションが下がってしまうのですが、この形式は私にはとても合っています。また、音声ベースなので、最初から発音とスピーキングに集中できます。主にリーディングやタイピングに重点を置いているアプリと比べて、より実践的だと感じます。全体として、単に言語を学ぶのではなく、実際に言語を習得しているという実感があります。

最高の言語アプリ言語系YouTubeとして有名なKazuLanguagesさんもお薦めするアプリ。リスニング×発音→リーディングという順で学ぶので、実践的。一つのレッスンで同じフレーズを何度も出題されるので記憶に定着し易く、成長を実感しやすい。外国語の初学者に最適。

独学を可能にする完成度の高い語学アプリ英語をベースにしている前提があるが、非常によく考えられているアプリレベルは全部で5段階ありその中に各30コースがあるが、前後で習った単語や例文がいい感じに繰り返して出てくるので、無理なく覚えられてボキャブラリが増やせる。ライティングなどはやはり参考書を買った方がいいが、会話はこれでかなりいけると思う。私はフランス語をやっているが、実際のフランス語講師から一部古風な表現を指摘されたので、盲信しないことも勧める

【事前周知】日本語話者でアメリカ英語を勉強したい人へ「English for Japanease speakers」コースには「Voice Coach」「Flash Cards」「Quick Match」「Speed Round」という他のコースにある特典が2026年2月27日現在ありません!No settingです。つまり復習の観点から言うと、早く対応してください、ということです。

アジア人差別入れてくるこれ作ったやつ誰?いきなりJapaneseの発音でneaseとJa×で分けて来て、驚いたしすっごい不快だった。Level1 lesson18のreadingでもChinese の後にChinて単語入ってた。これは故意だろ。わざとじゃないんですなんて通じないよ。これ作ったやつ誰だよ、出てこいよ、ゴミカス野郎。追記Level2 Lesson6の15:58「彼は年上の娘とここにいます=He’s here with his older daughter.」と言わなきゃいけないのに、「Is here with older daughter 」て言っちゃってますよ。嘘つくの、やめてもらっていいですか?

最高色んな言語学習アプリがありますが、Pimsleurほど続いてる&身につくアプリは初めてです!全くの初心者から中国語を学び始めましたが、何度も同じフレーズを繰り返し言わされる&少し前のレッスンで学んだフレーズを定期的にリマインドしてくるので、無理なく記憶が定着してると感じます。めちゃくちゃオススメです!

アプリの不具合でほとんど動かなくなったPimsleur methodは、学習法としてはとても刺激的だったが、途中からloading やNetwork errorを繰り返して、アプリをアンインストールしても、スマホを再起動しても、動かない。チャットサポートに連絡しても何も返事がない。月に2300円払ってるんだから、ちゃんとして欲しい
